A Community Circle

The act of gathering, greeting, listening and connecting is a way to soothe our nervous system so we can refuel for the day, restore for our next meeting, or simply take a much needed nourishment break.

Gathering, in itself, is an act of self-care.

As we kick off our spring season of the R-Evolution circle we invite you to come and just be and discover who is in the room. Let's widen our circle, learn about each other and lean in. See you there.

Beyond Connections

With a strong understanding of the importance of leadership, engagement and continuous improvement, Kelly is driven by a passion to help others grow and develop. She firmly believes that each individual in their own way wants to be a part of something bigger than themselves. They want to be engaged, they want to be involved and they want to be valued.

Utilizing her education and experiences, she strives to assist teams in their development and change processes, engaging and empowering them to take charge of their change journey, and develop their team from within.

Tina Overbury

Tina shares with us that she believes we are entering the age of the artist. "Where words escape us, there is art. Where our frameworks are wobbling, there is art. Where there are divides, there is art. Where there is the unthinkable, the unspeakable, the depths where sense making feels so far reaching and so lonely… there is art."  She is an Expressive Arts Therapist (in training), Story Coach and Core Communications consultant who works with narrative and story structure as a form of human connection. For the last decade she has walked beside individuals and organizations as they bring themselves and their teams out onto the skinny branches of communicating from a heart centred place.

She offers 'What if your story has been entrusted to you?'

Nate is a resourceful and results driven professional with extensive experience impacting organizational presence. He is a strong and supportive leader of cross-functional teams, and is passionate about providing coaching and training to encourage staff to achieve excellence through their humanity.  The Neil Squire Society is Canada's leader in Assistive Technology: innovation, trialing, and implementation enabling people with disabilities to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

The Neil Squire society was established when 21-year-old Neil Squire was left a brain-stem tetraplegic after a car crash. Seeing he was unable to speak or move his arms and legs, Neil’s family and a group of professionals in Vancouver created a ground-breaking device allowing him to communicate by using his breath to type Morse code. After Neil passed, the small but mighty group formed the Society in his name to keep improving the lives of people with disabilities. Nate shares it is the best job he has ever had.

The R-Evolution Circle is a membership based community of practice who gathers on the first and third Friday of each month on zoom to openly talk about the evolution of workplace well-being.

We are committed to creating spaces that are inclusive of all people, prioritizing a sense of safety, an experience of being supported, and with a focus on all voices at the table being heard. We strive to create a welcoming space that is mindful of bias, culturally sensitive and compassionate when responding to conflict.

In the spirit of reconciliation, the R-Evolution circle gratefully acknowledge that the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Iyarhe Nakoda Nations, the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta District 6, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
